About This Tool

The earliest known literary works in the Portuguese language appeared in the 11th century, and today poets in northern Portugal and the North-Western Territory use Galician-Portuguese to write many lyrical poems. Although there are different opinions about the origin of this literary genre, it obviously permeates and influences each other with the singing poetry which is popular in Provence of southern France in the late Middle Ages. There are 117 Portuguese writers of this origin, recorded in this random tool.
