About This Tool

The Rhithrogena Species is an ancient and unique form of the original winged insect. Odonata and can be divided into the sub-class of ancient wings, their wings can not fold. Some species also have a central tail, larvae aquatic, adults do not feed, life is very short, the shortest just one day. Some of the Rhithrogena Species adults don’t eat, and when they molt, their digestive tracts fill with air, and the larvae live in a variety of freshwater habitats, most of which are warm, flowing water, and a few of which can survive in saltwater, one species even lives on land, and the adults spend most of their lives in flight.

A total of 153 species of the genus has been discovered so far, including detailed scientific names, the discoverer of each corresponding species and the detailed time of discovery, all preserved in this random tool generator. Because many species of this genus are sensitive to anoxic and acidic environments, the number of species in an area can be used as a measure of environmental pollution in that area.
