About This Tool

The Psallus Species is a family of the insect order Hemiptera. The largest family of Hemiptera. Nearly 10,000 species are known worldwide and are found in all regions. Small to medium-sized, with a delicate constitution. Body-color variety, from gray, yellow, brown, black to bright green, orange, red, and so on, some species with bright spots. There are now 162 species of this genus that have been discovered by humans and recorded in the random tool.

The Species like to parasitize, laying their eggs in the tissues of their host plants, often leaving only the egg caps exposed. Most taxa are mainly herbivorous and host a wide range of plants, including angiosperms, conifers and ferns. The generator records the exact discoverers of these taxa and the time of their discovery, which helps entomologists to distinguish the corresponding taxa more effectively.
