About This Tool

The Species of Pristaulacus is an order of Arthropoda and Insecta, including bees and ants, belonging to the subclass Pteroptera and holometabola. Some 120,000 species are known worldwide, and a total of 132 genera and species have been catalogued at any given time. They are widely distributed in the world, with the most species in tropical and subtropical regions.

Most Species of Pristaulacus have two pairs of normal membranous wings, and the forewings are significantly larger than the hind wings. Only a few Species have their wings reduced or shortened. The vast majority of species are pollinators and parasitic or predatory natural enemies that are beneficial to humans, and only a few are herbivorous pests of agricultural and forestry crops. The generator records in detail the scientific names, discoverers and the time of discovery of these genera and species, helping the researchers to further their understanding.
