About This Tool

Potentilla Species perennial plant. Roots Stout, terete, slightly lignified. The flowering and fruiting period is between April and October. Most species of this genus grow on hillsides, valleys, forest margins, shrubs or sparse forests, 400-3200 meters above sea level and other places. The root contains tannin, which can be extracted and used as herbal medicine to clear away heat, detoxify, stop bleeding and stop dysentery. The young shoots are edible and can be used as pig feed.

There are now 62 species and genera that have been discovered by humans, detailed in this random tool. In addition to Potentilla, the generator also has a complete record of the specific taxa of these genera and species, as well as ITIS, Grin and others. Different Species of Potentilla Species may vary slightly in their growth habits and appearance, but this list allows the botanist to make further judgments and identifications.
