About This Tool
Until the enactment of the Welsh Government Act 2006, the Welsh National Assembly had only limited legislative Powers, such as the Reserve Powers of the Westminster Abbey Parliament in London, which retained the Welsh Government’s financial budget. For the time being, the Welsh National Assembly legislates only on matters that have been devolved. Nevertheless, in the Welsh Assembly in 2001, the random tool contained detailed information on the 443 legal instruments adopted at the time.
Most of these legal instruments cover very minor areas that had previously been ignored by the government, such as state aid, children’s homes, child rights protection, feedstocks, agriculture, and fees. If you look further in the generator, you can also find complete information about each legal document, its specific number, its specific release date, and the scope of its primary coverage.
