About This Tool

The US Army normally relies on long-range mobile projection, mainly on transport and amphibious vessels belonging to the military transport command of the Department of Defense, the US Navy and the Marine Corps, but because of the existence of “Independent hilltops” among the various US services, what many people don’t know is that the U.S. Army has its own fleet, and that it has barely updated new ships since the Vietnam War. The tool generates a detailed list of 663 ships that are primarily used by the U.S. Army.

Fortunately, recently, the US Department of Defense finally approved the army’s new “Mobile support ship” development and construction plan, the U. S. Army is expected to use the new ship for the first time in decades. All of these ships have now been built and put into service. When you randomly look at information about one of the ships, you can find the date it was built, code information such as the specific type, class, category, and the number of the ship, as well as details such as the main purpose of the ship and who built it.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of ships of the United States Army.
