John Wick doesn’t drag things out longer than need be. There’ll be no long speeches, and he only uses a bullet if it’s a kill shot or to expose someone to get a kill shot. After finally catching up with Iosef, the man who killed his dog. John Wick doesn't give him a chance to defend himself, instead he executes him mid-sentence. It’s a rarity that a villain doesn’t get all of his final thoughts out, but that’s just how John Wick rolls.

The role of Hartman was given to R. Lee Ermey based on experiences he drew from his own time as a Gunnery Sergeant, and you can certainly see why. Leading the brigade in the dehumanization of fresh troops during the Vietnam war, Gunnery Sergeant Hartman was a bit of a jerk to say the least. When held at gun point by one of the recruits he pushed, perhaps, a little too far, as he continues with the abusive put-downs before he himself is literally put down.

There’s showing no remorse when your time is up, then there’s Ward Abbott. Before taking his own life, not only is he not overly phased about his wrong doings (quite the understatement) but feels the need to state his lack of regret. An absolute villain till the bitter end!

"You already... have, Luke. You were right. You were right about me. Tell your sister... you were right”
Luke Skywalker pretty much refused to fight Darth Vader all the way through Return of The Jedi, citing he still believed there was good in his father and that he could bring his true self, Anakin Skywalker, back to the light side of the Force.
After initially refuting his son's statement, Vader ends up turning on his master, The Emperor, and with his last words, confirms that Luke was right all along. At the same time he showed us that Anakin Skywalker, had indeed, come back to the light, before peacefully passing on.
