About This Tool

The Canadian House of Commons has voted down legislation aimed at ensuring that Canadian mining companies respect environmental and human rights standards in other countries. After the reading of the last bill, the House of Commons voted 140-134 to reject a bill introduced by liberal MP John Johan Mackay. The bill seeks to ensure corporate responsibility for Canadian mining, oil and gas companies by requiring the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and trade to submit annual reports to the House of Commons and to the Senate for review. Ministers will decide whether the company violates social, environmental, health, or human rights norms on the basis of complaints from the local public.

The random tool generates 73 items that record the Canadian House of Common's military service list. These include Andr Ébachand, Edgar Crow Baker, l éon Balcer, Samuel Rosborough Balcom, James Balfour, Frederick Eustace Barker, and others we may be familiar with.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Members of the Canadian House of Commons with military service (B).
