    Elba told fans that "now is the time for solidarity, now is the time for thinking about each other," asking us to wash our hands and keep our distance. 

    Update: Elba and his wife were reportedly asymptomatic, remained in isolation for the recommended quarentine period, and believe the worst is over, but are unable to travel home due to travel restrictions.

    Update: Hanks and Wilson are back in their home of Los Angeles and practicing social distancing as they continue their lives post-recovery.

    Though Monaco has not had many documented cases as of yet, neighboring France has been hit pretty hard. So the palace's statement also reminded citizens to follow proper guidelines. "His Serene Highness urges the people of Monaco to respect the measures of confinement and to limit contact with others to a minimum. Only the strict observance of these confinement measures will make it possible to stop the spread of the coronavirus," it read.

    Update: Albert has completed his 14-day isolation and has diminished symptoms. He will remain in sheltered in place until the situation remedies itself.

He is currently serving his 23-year-sentence for third-degree rape and first-degree criminal sexual act at the Wende Correctional Facility, near Buffalo, NY. 

    Weinstein is in isolation at the prison, as are the staff members who came in contact with him. 

    It should also be noted that a lawyer for Weinstein told Reuters on Sunday evening that they had not been notified of the diagnosis, while another representative for the film mogul said they were not aware of him taking the test.

    Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he had also tested positive. England's chief medical officer, Chris Whitty, has shown symptoms.

    Update: As of 4/6/2020 Johnson was moved to the ICU at St. Thomas' Hospital for severe breathing problems as a result of the viral pneumonia that COVID-19 triggers.

    The Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai said that the actor was in stable condition with mild symptoms in an isolation unit.

    Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro tested positive shortly after dining with President Trump. Bolsonaro's press secretary, Fabio Wajngarten, tested positive for the virus on March 12, 2020. 

    Bolsonaro had recently denied the virus pandemic, saying, "During the past year, obviously, we have had moments of crisis. A lot of that is fantasy. And [the virus], which is not all the mainstream media makes it out to be."

    Despite reports that he tested positive, Bolsonaro is insisting he tested negative. He posted the following message on social media: "DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE MEDIA FAKE NEWS!"

    Update: Bolsonaro continues to assert that the global pandemic is not a threat. Brazilian governors have ignored his orders to get Brazilian citizens back to work instead of sheltering in place.

    The day after the NBA announced game play would be suspended, it was revealed that a player on the Utah Jazz was diagnosed as positive. ESPN later revealed that player to be center Rudy Gobert.

    Reporters have been banned from media access to locker rooms due to the virus, so players have been going up to a podium to fulfill media obligations. On March 9, 2020, Gobert touched every microphone on stage, perhaps as a joke suggesting he was not worried about catching anything. However, he has since become the first NBA player to test positive. It is not known how many people interacted with those microphones after he touched them. 

    Update: Gobert and the rest of his teammates have isolated for the 14-day period and reportedly no longer pose a threat to infect other people. Gobert also donated $500,000 to support stadium staff and health care workers in Utah, Oklahoma City and France.

    Alyssa Milano took to Instagram on August 5, 2020, to not only reveal that she had tested positive for antibodies, but also to warn people of what she believes are flaws in America's COVID-19 testing centers. 

    Milano described her symptoms: "I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurt. Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in two weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headaches were horrible. I basically had every COVID symptom." However, when she took not one, but two tests at the end of March, both came back negative. 

    When symptoms persisted over the ensuing four months - such as "vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, [and] zero short-term memory" - she got her blood drawn for an antibody test, and it came back positive for COVID-19 antibodies. 

    She warned everyone to take the virus seriously, not only because we likely don't know the real numbers, but also because the virus made her feel like "I was dying."

    Update: On March 30, 2020 Suarez was cleared to end his isolation after testing negative twice consecutively.

    Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen was the first known active NFL player to test positive. FOX Sports broke the story on April 15, 2020. 

    Allen reportedly said he lost his sense of smell and taste, and also showed flu-like symptoms. However, he is now symptom-free and on the road to recovery.

    He also pleaded with everyone to take the coronavirus seriously. "This is not just about social distancing," he told ESPN. "It's shutting down here for a week to two weeks. It's not complicated to do what they're asking of us. Just that type of small investment by every one of us will have a dramatic impact."
