  (#1) Minato Namikaze

  There's a good reason why Minato Namikaze was honored with the hokage title - he's one of the greatest ninja in Konoha history. He has the patience, intelligence, and bravery to effectively lead a nation, and he has the strength, speed, and endurance needed to dominate in battle. While he's able to perform a wide range of jutsu including power moves like Rasengan and terrifying techniques like Dead Demon Consuming Seal, he's best known for the Flying Thunder God Technique. This lets him instantly teleport to any location he's previously marked with a special seal. While there's some behind the scenes prep involved in this technique, it's incredibly useful when deployed with a good strategy in mind - and it's why he's nicknamed The Yellow Flash.

  (#2) Shikaku Nara

  Besides dispensing excellent life advice to his son Shikamaru, Shikaku is also a world-class ninja. Like his teammates Inoichi and Choza, Shikaku is a jōnin-level ninja, which means that he's exceptionally strong. He's a master of the Nara clan's signature Shadow techniques, which allow him to control other people by merging his shadow with theirs. He can also use advanced versions of this technique like the Black Spider Lily technique, which lets him control several people at once while using other parts of his shadow to move freely. 

  But it's not just his clan jutsu that makes Shikaku stand out - he's also a blistering intelligent man with the same strategic mind that his son Shikamaru is known for. For this reason, he was given the job of Chief Strategist of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

  (#3) Kushina Uzumaki

  • Naruto Shippūden

  As a member of the Uzumaki clan, Kushina possesses vast stores of chakra, as well as healing powers, a long life, and great endurance. This made her a great choice for hosting the Nine-Tailed fox, and led to her being able to survive when it was extracted from her body during childbirth. She also didn't pass away the instant the Nine-Tailed Beast stabbed her with its claw. Having the fox in her body gave her an even bigger chakra boost than he already had.

  Besides that, she's physically strong and proficient in fūinjutsu - the art of sealing techniques.

  (#4) Rasa

  As the Kazekage, Rasa was acknowledged to be one of the most powerful ninja in Sunagakure. He was able to control the One-Tailed Beast to the point where he was able to seal it inside of his unborn son's body - though whether or not that showed good judgement is another story. With serious training and effort, he was able to combine Earth and Wind elemental release techniques to perform the kekkei genkai Magnet Release. Magnet release lets him manipulate gold dust, which he can summon in huge amounts from the surrounding area. He can use it offensively by striking others with it, or he can use it defensively to create barriers. He can even form an eyeball out of gold dust that allows him to monitor others from a distance.

  (#5) Hizashi Hyuuga

  Because Hizashi was perennially overlooked in favor of members of the main house, we never really get a good look at what his abilities are, other than the obvious Byakugan. That said, there's evidence that he's more powerful than his brother Hiashi - he's able to knock him out with a single punch at least once. Besides that, he seems to have mastered the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven technique, which he would have been forbidden to learn as a member of the branch family. 

  Hizashi also demonstrated emotional strength - defending his child's right to learn jutsu he had the potential to master despite the physical pain he had to endure whenever he disagreed with the Main Branch, and ultimately deciding to sacrifice his own life for the sake of peace.

  (#6) Fugaku Uchiha

  Like most members of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku has a Sharingan, which he could use with significant skill. During the Third Shinobi War, his Sharingan evolved into a Mangekyo after his friend sacrificed his life for him. This gave him a significant power boost - one strong enough that he was fairly certain he could use it to control the Nine Tailed fox. 

  Besides his clan's doujutsu, he's also capable of using Fire Release, and creating an enormous fireball.

  (#7) Hiashi Hyuuga

  Hiashi Hyuuga is the head of the Hyuuga clan, and while it took him a long time to get around to being a decent dad, he's always been an exceptional shinobi. Using the family doujutsu, the Byakugan, he's able to see everything within 360 degrees minus a small blind spot, see massive distances away from him, and see through peoples' bodies into their chakra pathway systems, circulatory systems, and more. By the Boruto timeline, his abilities have advanced to the point of being able to see peoples' thoughts and emotions. 

  Besides using Byakugan, he's also talented at taijutsu - particularly the Gentle Fist technique, which allows him to target specific points in an enemies' chakra pathway system.

  (#8) Choza Akimichi

  Just like his teammates and friends Inoichi and Shikaku, Choza Akimichi is a highly skilled jōnin-rank shinobi. Like the rest of the clan that he leads, Choza is able to convert calories into chakra - which means that it's in his best interest to consume as many calories as possible. By using the Multi-Size Technique, he can dramatically increase his size, which also helps boost his strength and lets him use the Human Bullet Tank technique. Using this, he converts his body into a rapidly spinning ball that can run over enemies with ease. While he's never seen taking them, it's assumed that he can use the Three Coloured Pills, which provide massive power boosts but are potentially fatal if the last one is used.

  (#9) Shibi Aburame

  Shibi Aburame is a jōnin level ninja, which means that he's one of the more powerful ninja in the village. Well respected by both his family and Konoha as a whole, he's been put in charge of important missions like keeping Naruto on Turtle Island during the Fourth Shinobi World War. His jutsu is typical of the Aburame family - he shares a symbiotic bond with kikaichū insects. By controlling these insects, he can suck out an enemy's chakra, or simply overwhelm them with numbers. He can also use them to remove poisons from the human body.

  (#10) Inoichi Yamanaka

  As a jōnin-level ninja who works as the head of the Analysis Team of the villages' Intelligence Division, it's clear that Inoichi Yamanaka is a highly talented man. When he needs to engage in battle, he tends to rely on Water Release techniques. But his true skills lay in the Yamanaka clan's signature jutsu. These jutsu allow him to alter people's minds, either by projecting his own consciousness into their bodies, or manipulating their minds while remaining in his own body. He can also communicate through telepathy, and read peoples' minds rapidly and efficiently.

  When using these attacks in combat, they're best done in conjunction with the other members of his ninja team, Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi.

  (#11) Tsume Inuzuka

  Tsume Inuzuka is both a tokubetsu jōnin and a single mother, which means she leads an exceptionally busy life. As a member of the Inuzuka clan, her jutsu center around teamwork with her canine partner, Kuromaru. Using the Four Legs Technique, she can move like a canine, dramatically increasing her speed, strength, and agility. With Fang Passing Fang, she and Kuromaru can transform their bodies into drill-like whirlwinds and launch a powerful attack. She's seen using that technique against Preta Path during Pain's invasion. She also uses flash bombs, which both blind her opponent and allow herself and Kuromaru to operate by sense of smell alone.

  Mikoto Uchiha was a powerful enough ninja to achieve jōnin-level, but she gave up her career in order to raise her children. We know very little about her actual abilities. She did once offer to help Sasuke with his shuriken training, which implies that she was proficient enough to teach him the basics - but considering her rank, she's probably good deal stronger than basically proficient.

  (#13) Yoshino Nara

  Most of the time, we see Yoshino Nara in her role as an extremely frustrated wife and mother to the Nara men. But a chunin-level kunoichi, Yoshino has clearly demonstrated her strength as a ninja. Just like Mebuki, she's been seen beating the stuffing out of a sumo wrestler, which displays her taijutsu skills.

  (#14) Mebuki Haruno

  We don't get to see too much of Sakura's mother in action, but what little we do see makes it clear that her daughter's physical strength doesn't come out of nowhere. She's shown using taijutsu with great skill when she knocks out a sumo wrestler with one kick. She's also been known to incorporate unusual weapons like frying pans in her battle style.

  (#15) Kizashi Haruno

  We don't get to learn much about Sakura's father's true abilities. They're demonstrated not in the actual timeline, but in Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, which depicts an alternate reality based on the Infinite Tsukuyomi. In this timeline, Kizashi and Mebuki were both famous ninja who had passed away defending the village, and Kizashi was the hokage - basically, they were what Naruto's parents are in reality. This may have been based on Kizashi's potential, but was probably more about Sakura's desire for independence from her parents.

  In real life, his abilities are mostly unexplored, but we do know that he is a ninja, so he has to have some level of baseline skills.
