About This Tool

Since the appearance of carbon nanotubes (cnts) , there has been a worldwide upsurge in the study of nanomaterials. It has attracted a great deal of interest in materials science over the past decade, not only because of its unique and fascinating properties, but also because these properties change with the size and morphology of nanomaterials. To help modeling nanostructures run more smoothly, the tool generates a list of 25 computer programs designed to help model them better.

When you randomly look at the specific software information in this list, you can see that the commonalities are used to model nanostructures at both the classical and quantum mechanical levels, and through the simulation of 3D modeling to build a small scale model structure. This has the advantage of allowing scientists to see as much of the physical form as possible, and what needs to be added or subtracted from the construction process on the ground, at a cost and material savings.
