About This Tool
The Scottish Parliament was formed in 1997 after the devolution of powers. It belongs to the local parliament. The Scottish Parliament consists of 129 members of the Scottish Parliament. The 129 members of Parliament will elect one of them as president and two as vice-presidents. It also includes many Gaelic-speaking Scots, who live in an area that covers a large part of the Scottish nation.
