About This Tool

The Kingdom of Lesotho is located in southeastern Africa, on the western slopes of the Drakensi Mountains on the eastern edge of the South African plateau. The ideas and methods of education here are fully guided by the South African state and are isolated from the outside world. Lesotho is one of the world’s Least Developed Countries, with poor natural resources and a weak Base. But the government has not given up on itself. Its citizens are better educated, with a literacy rate of 89.6%.

Of the 114 randomly selected basic education institutions, 69.3 percent had primary education coverage and 13 percent of gross domestic product was spent on education, the highest in Sub Saharan Africa. The follow-up vocational and technical education has developed rapidly and has the only higher education institution in the country, the University of Lesotho. A detailed list of schools can be found in this generator. These schools cover a lot of the government’s efforts and are the main educational resources in the area.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of schools in Lesotho.
