About This Tool

Maithili is one of India’s major languages, spoken by only about ten million people in and around the country, and is one of the rarest of the small languages. Maithili is used by even fewer writers. But according to the Sahitya Akademi Award, 50 Maithili writers and their work have been honored, and their details are recorded in the generator.

As history goes on, the first Maithili writer to receive the Sahitya Akademi Award was

Mithila-Baibhav in 1966. Until now, most of these writers' works have been translated into the common language and circulated around the world, and many people can read their works. The random tool records in detail the winning authors and their works, as well as the specific date of their awards.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Sahitya Akademi Award winners for Maithili.
