About This Tool

Sierra Leone is one of the world’s Least Developed Countries, with a low standard of living and a former supply of slaves to Europe, one of the lowest in the world in terms of purchasing power, health, longevity, education and, most importantly, construction, most economic activities collapsed as a result of the civil war. As the war drew to a close in January 2002, foreign aid poured in to help rebuild Sierra Leone.

Owing to its mineral wealth, Sierra Leone’s economy is heavily dependent on mining, particularly diamond mining. The most well known of these are blood diamonds mined from Sierra Leone. In addition to being rich in natural resources, the random tool generator lists 16 sites as national historical highlights, such as Bunce Island, De Ruyter Stone, Martello Tower, Grave of Captain Lendy and others.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of National Monuments of Sierra Leone.
