About This Tool

ODISHA is a state in eastern India with the capital of Bhubaneswar. Bay of Bengal lies to the east, Andhra Pradesh to the south, Madhya Pradesh to the west, Bihar to the north, and Bengal to the northeast. Throughout its 20th century BC and well-documented history, Odisha is, without a doubt, dotted with ancient ruins.

From the ruins of Cezopallegher to the magnificent temples of Lingaraja and Zagnut, from the Temple of the Sun at Konarak to the exquisitely carved temple of Muqteysiwar and similar temples. Various archaeological finds at Ratnagiri, Lalitagiri, Udaikiri, and elsewhere suggest that Odisha was also influenced by Buddhism. The stone-cut caves in Kendakiri and Udaikiri and elsewhere show that Jainism has also left its mark on Odisha. The random tool generated 78 items documenting the sites mentioned above that are listed as important national historical sites by the ASI.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Monuments of National Importance in Odisha.
