Presque Isle County is a county in the northeastern upper peninsula of Michigan on the east side of Lake Huron. Area 6,663 KM2(of which 4,954 KM2 or 74.34% is water area). According to the 2000 U.S. census, there are 14,411 people. County Rogers City. Founded in 1840, the county government was founded on March 31, 1871. The county name comes from the peninsula of the same name.
