About This Tool

Mecosta County is a midwestern County in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Area 1,479 square kilometres. According to the 2000 U.S. census, there are 40,553 people. Big Rapids. Founded on 1840, the county government was founded on Feb. 11,1859. The name of the county commemorates a POTAWATOMI chief.
