About This Tool

A locomotive powered by an internal combustion engine and driven by transmission to move the wheels of the diesel locomotive. According to the types of internal combustion engines on locomotives, the majority of internal combustion engines used in China's railways are diesel engines. The fuel (diesel) is burned in the cylinder, and the Heat Energy is converted into mechanical energy which is output by the diesel crankshaft, but is not used to drive the wheels directly but is converted into mechanical energy which is suitable for the requirements of the locomotive traction characteristics through the transmission device, the running part then drives the locomotive moving wheel to rotate on the track.

The 6 items generated by this random tool represent a list of lima-hamilton locomotives built between 1949 and 1951. The model names shown were created by railway enthusiasts, where L stands for Lima, S for RS, T for Switcher, road switcher, or t for conversion, followed by a number for horsepower.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Lima-Hamilton diesel locomotives.
