  • (#1) He Ruins College Aspirations For Underprivileged High School Students

In what is arguably the most uncomfortable episode of The Office ever, Season 6's "Scott's Tots," Michael Scott drops the ball more than anyone has in the history of dropping balls. Ten years before the episode takes place, Michael promises every member of an elementary school class that he will pay for their college education if they graduate from high school.

Well, they do... and he doesn't.

The school invites Michael to celebrate their impending graduation. When he arrives, they regale him with song and dance about how amazing he is and he sits there bawling his eyes out knowing he just quite possibly ruined the lives of more than a dozen kids.

  • He Forces Dwight To Take The Fall For His 'Golden Ticket' Blunder on Random Facts About Michael Scott Is A Bad Person

(#2) He Forces Dwight To Take The Fall For His 'Golden Ticket' Blunder

Time and time again, Michael takes advantage of Dwight's undying love and devotion – none more significant than the episode where one of Michael's many stupid mistakes put the company in jeopardy and he asked Dwight to "fall on his sword." The boss is sure he'll be fired but thinks it makes more sense for Dwight (the company's top salesman, of course) to make an exit.

Fast-forward to the end of the episode: we learn that Michael's "Golden Ticket" gamble paid off. Since he already told upper management that it was Dwight's idea, they now think he is responsible for the win, but Michael can't have that. He crashes a congratulatory meeting with the CFO and Dwight, taking all the credit back from Dwight. If there was a Dundie for "Biggest Jackass In The Office," Michael would win it every year.

  • (#3) He Ruins Phyllis's Wedding... Multiple Times

Michael makes sure to use Phyllis's pending nuptials as a reason to find the spotlight and, in turn, provides one of the most awkward episodes in all of television.

Phyllis puts Michael in her wedding to get six weeks off for her honeymoon. Michael takes that opportunity to do some stand-up comedy discussing Phyllis's physique and her high school nickname "Easy Rider." Not to mention, he prematurely announces "Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vance" at the top of his lungs in the church. If that wasn't awkward enough, he forces himself into the classic "cake in the face" candid wedding photo.

  • (#4) He Sexually Assaults Oscar After Forcing Him To Come Out To His Co-Workers

Oscar Martinez is the sensible voice of reason on The Office, a show that sorely needs one. He's also a homosexual, and the reason we know that is because Michael Scott makes him stand up and come out to his co-workers in the middle of a meeting during the episode "Gay Witch Hunt" in Season 3.

That's right. Michael takes control of one of the most significant and emotionally weighty decisions in a gay person's life. Oh, and then he grabs Oscar and kisses him on the lips in front of everyone to prove it is okay to have gay friends.

  • He Attempts To Frame Toby For Drug Possession on Random Facts About Michael Scott Is A Bad Person

(#5) He Attempts To Frame Toby For Drug Possession

Michael has a very long history of denigrating and berating Toby, everyone's favorite sad-sack HR rep. Whether it's loudly discussing Toby's divorce, making fun of his voice, or blaming him for all the ills of society, Michael never tires of being terribly mean to Toby.

That all comes to a head when Michael decides to frame Toby for drug possession. Of course, someone sells him a Caprese salad instead of weed because Michael is dumb enough to fall for it, but what an evil plan.

  • (#6) He Hosts The Most Racist Diversity Day Ever

The entire Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin is forced to endure diversity training after Michael performs a famous Chris Rock routine - complete with racial expletives - to the entire office. After a standard corporate session of diversity training, Michael decides to hold his own version which includes acting out ever racist stereotype known to humanity, resulting in him being slapped by Kelly for doing a terribly offensive Indian accent.

(#7) He Continues To See Donna After He Knows She's Married

After failing miserably on a blind date set up by Pam and Jim, Michael nearly gets thrown out of the bar/arcade by Donna, the manager of the establishment. She later shows up for a sales appointment at Dunder Mifflin and ends up hooking up with Michael in the parking lot.

After a short - but torrid - love affair with Donna, Michael discovers that she's married. Instead of breaking up, sulking, and eating an entire gallon of ice cream like a normal person, Michael continues to date Donna. Only a face-to-face meeting with her husband –a high-school baseball coach – convinces Michael that it might not be a good idea to continue being a homewrecker.

  • He Holds A Teenager Hostage For A Discount On Pizza on Random Facts About Michael Scott Is A Bad Person

(#8) He Holds A Teenager Hostage For A Discount On Pizza

After getting dissed yet again by Ryan in "Launch Party," Michael decides to eat his feelings by ordering a whole lot of pizza for the Scranton folk. Sadly, he orders the pies from the much-maligned Pizza By Alfredo and is immediately reminded by the staff that their food tastes like a "hot circle of garbage."

As Michael nears the end of his rope, he discovers that the coupon he's using won't cover all the pizza, and he must pay full price. His response is to hold the delivery boy hostage until the ownership of Alfredo's honors the coupon. He then asks for some extras thrown in along with the pizza for their trouble. Meanwhile, the workers of Dunder Mifflin start researching the kind of jail time they might be forced to do as accessories to a kidnapping.

After moping through the lunch – and, of course, eating food off a stranger's plate – Michael gets drunk off eggnog and invites two waitresses from the restaurant to come to their office holiday celebration.

After arriving at the party somewhat inebriated and with unexpected guests, Michael immediately heads for the karaoke machine and quickly realizes he can't tell the difference between the two waitresses. So, of course, he decides to mark one of them on the arm with a pen.

Dwight perhaps takes his position as Volunteer Sheriff's Deputy in Scranton a bit too seriously. The position comes with no real power but Dwight likes to wear his uniform and follow the letter of the law.

When Michael decides to smoke weed at an Alicia Keys concert and leaves the burnt spliff in the Dunder Mifflin parking lot, he forces Dwight to give him clean urine to pass the impending office drug test. After breaking the oath he took when he started volunteering, Dwight turns in his uniform and quits "the force."

In reality, Stanley was out with his mistress and the new people stumbled upon the married salesman's affair.

Michael starts spreading the rumor around the office and soon realizes that he could get Stanley in trouble. To cover his error, Michael decides to spread all kinds of rumors about everyone in the office, including one about Andy being gay and that Jim and Pam were pregnant. Of course, Pam jumps on the grenade and admits that they are indeed pregnant, but Michael ends up accidentally calling Stanley's wife by his mistress's name anyway.

They decide to do a take on Slumdog Millionaire, which somehow includes privileged information regarding the imminent closure of the Buffalo branch.

Prior to the skit, the entire Buffalo staff - and their families - had no idea they were being laid off.

  • (#14) He Hits Meredith With His Car

She only found out because she was already in the hospital. Because of this, Michael believes he saved her life.

  • He Dresses Up As Jesus For The Office Christmas Party on Random Facts About Michael Scott Is A Bad Person
