I hated Ragnarok. I'm all for comedy, but they were all acting out of characters. In fact, they were all acting like idiots. I cringed the whole time. I like the Natasha-Bruce thing. Especially the way she flirted with him, and he became flustered and doesn't know how to respond. I thought it was a sweet scene.

(#8) The Russos Don't Actually Like Captain America

I don't agree with the Russos' hype and wish they never touched Captain America.
They admitted to thinking Steve was too bland and vanilla and wanting to "butch him up."
They're enamored with Black Widow, so they screwed over Agent 13 for her sake.
Aside from Sharon, they squandered Crossbones, Zemo, and Falcon, who was saved from bad writing only by Anthony Mackie having that much talent.
And while the decision to make Cap3 into Civil War wasn't theirs, I just can't imagine they were anything but completely pleased about the movie being an Avengers project in all but name.
And most of all, their entire storyline of Cap is going to lead to him dying, so Tony Natasha other characters can experience pathos.
Moreover...
Captain America: The Winter Soldier gets plaudits it doesn't deserve.
Credit where it is due, it has better editing than most and better fights and action than the rest.
It isn't deep or particularly clever or subversive. The villains are HYDRA who are unambiguously fascists who want to kill potential opponents.
The following exchange perfectly encapsulates my issue.

Singh: Not if it was your switch.HYDRA are bad guys. Those fighting/opposing/aren't them are good guys. There isn't much moral gray.
Also, the movie gets way too much praise for not having Cap and BW be romantically involved like it was some landmark thing.
But also, people have been losing their minds over a fight in a cramped elevator like it was the hallway fight from Oldboy.

(#9) Ang Lee's 'Hulk' Is Much Better
Ang Lee’s 2003 Hulk was a much better movie and better Hulk story than the 2008 The Incredible Hulk.
The Ang Lee movie is the only cinematic treatment of the Hulk that digs into his traumatic childhood and how that led to the Hulk being a separate persona. Jennifer Connelly was a much more convincing Betty than Liv Tyler and while William Hurt is a fine actor, I found Sam Eliot’s General Ross much more nuanced and interesting.

As easily the most important woman in the Marvel cinematic universe, Margaret Elizabeth Carter deserves her own movie. 18 episode of the television didn’t nearly delve far enough into her story, and - Who’s with me? I want to see more of Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark.

- Marvel should take a page from DC’s book and allow for some standalone movies and tv shows to tell stories that can’t be told if integrated into the MCU’s overarching story.
- Marvel should allow some R-rated MCU films other than just Deadpool when the source material calls for it.

The MCU colour scheme and grade should only have been applied to Avengers films. All the rest suffer because of it. The only film to break out of it is Thor: Ragnarok and that’s why people love it. Otherwise it’s Ice Pirates for the modern era.

Kevin Feige is a genius & all but his biggest mistake by FAR was ignoring Marvel TV. Shows like Agents of SHIELD & Daredevil are fantastic but to the casual MCU fan they mean nothing because they are ignored. AoS is constantly affected by the movies but never the other way around
