  • 'Thor: Ragnarok' Just Feels Weird  on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#1) 'Thor: Ragnarok' Just Feels Weird

    From Redditor /u/Sekorrii:

I hated Ragnarok. I'm all for comedy, but they were all acting out of characters. In fact, they were all acting like idiots. I cringed the whole time. I like the Natasha-Bruce thing. Especially the way she flirted with him, and he became flustered and doesn't know how to respond. I thought it was a sweet scene.

  • Guardians, Or Just A Bunch Of A-Holes?  on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#2) Guardians, Or Just A Bunch Of A-Holes?

    From Redditor /u/theresjustme:

I don't care for The Guardians of The Galaxy. I don't think the movies are bad, just meh for me. In Infinity War whenever the Guardians scenes came up I lost interest. When James Gunn was fired last year I didn't really care.

  • Iron Meh on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#3) Iron Meh

    From Redditor /u/Sting24:

I can’t stand Tony Stark, his personality or iron man in general.

Tony’s personality reminds me of people I didn’t like when I was a teenager. Narcissistic people don’t change like Tony did, but even still I don’t like him.

  • 'Civil War' Is Overrated on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#4) 'Civil War' Is Overrated

    From Redditor /u/Jon_Kent:

The airport fight in Civil War has as much stakes and tension as a pillow fight on a sleepover.

  • Thor's Origin Is Better Than Tony's on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#5) Thor's Origin Is Better Than Tony's

    From Redditor /u/Frothy_Manbeast:

First Thor is better than the first Iron Man.

  • Peter Quill Is A Jerk on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#6) Peter Quill Is A Jerk

    From Redditor /u/bobinski_circus:

Peter Quill is a manchild who treats women poorly and that is an overdone trope in all Hollywood films at this point and I am especially sick of it with him. Gamora and he have little chemistry and I have no idea why she'd be attracted to him other than 'well he's written as the male lead and she sexy so...'

  • Thoughts About Mary Poppins on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#7) Thoughts About Mary Poppins

    From Redditor /u/skittle728:

Yondu’s death wasn’t sad. Yeah I said it.

  • The Russos Don't Actually Like Captain America on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#8) The Russos Don't Actually Like Captain America

    From Redditor /u/frankwaslingham:

I don't agree with the Russos' hype and wish they never touched Captain America.

They admitted to thinking Steve was too bland and vanilla and wanting to "butch him up."

They're enamored with Black Widow, so they screwed over Agent 13 for her sake.

Aside from Sharon, they squandered Crossbones, Zemo, and Falcon, who was saved from bad writing only by Anthony Mackie having that much talent.

And while the decision to make Cap3 into Civil War wasn't theirs, I just can't imagine they were anything but completely pleased about the movie being an Avengers project in all but name.

And most of all, their entire storyline of Cap is going to lead to him dying, so Tony Natasha other characters can experience pathos.

    Moreover...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier gets plaudits it doesn't deserve.

Credit where it is due, it has better editing than most and better fights and action than the rest.

It isn't deep or particularly clever or subversive. The villains are HYDRA who are unambiguously fascists who want to kill potential opponents.

The following exchange perfectly encapsulates my issue.

Pierce: What if Pakistan marched into Mumbai, and you knew they were going to drag your daughters into a soccer stadium and shoot them, and you could just stop it. With the flip of a switch. Wouldn’t you?
Singh: Not if it was your switch.

HYDRA are bad guys. Those fighting/opposing/aren't them are good guys. There isn't much moral gray.

Also, the movie gets way too much praise for not having Cap and BW be romantically involved like it was some landmark thing.

But also, people have been losing their minds over a fight in a cramped elevator like it was the hallway fight from Oldboy.

  • Ang Lee's 'Hulk' Is Much Better on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#9) Ang Lee's 'Hulk' Is Much Better

    From Redditor /u/Leighgion:

Ang Lee’s 2003 Hulk was a much better movie and better Hulk story than the 2008 The Incredible Hulk.

The Ang Lee movie is the only cinematic treatment of the Hulk that digs into his traumatic childhood and how that led to the Hulk being a separate persona. Jennifer Connelly was a much more convincing Betty than Liv Tyler and while William Hurt is a fine actor, I found Sam Eliot’s General Ross much more nuanced and interesting.

  • Peggy Carter Deserves The World on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#10) Peggy Carter Deserves The World

    From Redditor /u/Boba_fet042:

As easily the most important woman in the Marvel cinematic universe, Margaret Elizabeth Carter deserves her own movie. 18 episode of the television didn’t nearly delve far enough into her story, and - Who’s with me? I want to see more of Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark.

  • Cap Wouldn't Just Sit At Home on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#11) Cap Wouldn't Just Sit At Home

    From Twitter user @KraaiDani:

I frequently think about how Cap would never just sit around and let himself age when he knows everything that happens. He probably wouldn’t try to change the future but it would drive him crazy.

  • Each Origin Movie Is Basically The Same on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#12) Each Origin Movie Is Basically The Same

    From Twitter user @munsimunsi:

Iron Man/Hulk/Thor/Captain America/Ant Man/Dr. Strange/Captain Marvel Parts 1 are literally the exact same movie. It's a good movie, and I enjoy watching it, but it's the same movie.

  • Spider-Man Just Isn't There Yet on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#13) Spider-Man Just Isn't There Yet

    From Twitter user @Mack_Fraser:

No MCU film has gotten Spider-Man right. With great power comes great responsibility is the key. First film he wants to be a superhero because it’s cool and in the second he treats being SM like a kid being made to do his homework by mean Nick Fury. Neither feels right.

  • Marvel Studios Plays It Too Safe on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#14) Marvel Studios Plays It Too Safe

    From Twitter user @JPGamerinPyjama:

    - Endgame and FFH didn’t explore the effects of the snap nearly as much as they should’ve.

    - Marvel should take a page from DC’s book and allow for some standalone movies and tv shows to tell stories that can’t be told if integrated into the MCU’s overarching story.

    - Marvel should allow some R-rated MCU films other than just Deadpool when the source material calls for it.

  • Color Differentiation Could Be Helpful on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#15) Color Differentiation Could Be Helpful

    From Twitter user @JoelWynne:

The MCU colour scheme and grade should only have been applied to Avengers films. All the rest suffer because of it. The only film to break out of it is Thor: Ragnarok and that’s why people love it. Otherwise it’s Ice Pirates for the modern era.

  • Thor Is The Most Developed Avenger on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#16) Thor Is The Most Developed Avenger

    From Redditor /u/Colton826:

Thor is the MCU's most well developed character (over Tony & Steve)

    Supported by another Redditor, /u/Blockinite:

Agreed... He's gone through too many great arcs for me not to.

  • Tony Is Super Manipulative on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#17) Tony Is Super Manipulative

    From Twitter user @OvanPlays:

Tony Stark was trash thru out the series he didn't wanna own up to any of his own mistakes and went out his way to continue to make matters worse... He also blackmailed a child into getting into a fight he knew nothing about be threatening to leak his secret identity

  • 'Endgame' Wasn't A Good Movie on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

    (#18) 'Endgame' Wasn't A Good Movie

    From Twitter user @liberalicious:

Endgame was a series of callbacks tied together by a poorly thought out 'plot' full of holes. Steve Rogers was totally out of character and his 'happily ever after' ending where he goes back to a racist, sexist era and allows Hydra to torture Bucky for 70 years was TRASH.

  • Kevin Feige And Studio Politics Damaged The Greater MCU on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#19) Kevin Feige And Studio Politics Damaged The Greater MCU

    From Twitter user @tannwoir:

Kevin Feige is a genius & all but his biggest mistake by FAR was ignoring Marvel TV. Shows like Agents of SHIELD & Daredevil are fantastic but to the casual MCU fan they mean nothing because they are ignored. AoS is constantly affected by the movies but never the other way around

  • RDJ As Tony Stark Is One Dimensional And He Isn't Acting on Random Controversial MCU Opinions That Could Get Your Fan Card Revoked

(#20) RDJ As Tony Stark Is One Dimensional And He Isn't Acting

    From Twitter user @MrSpiderClown:

None of the movies are amazing. They’re good, some great. But since the whole MCU is one big movie, they become exhausting. The ending was a letdown and the only good performance in the series is Chris Evans. RDJ is just being RDJ so it’s not acting. All of this just my opinion.

About This Tool

MCU is the most successful superhero movie series, which is well known. Marvel casting is also a thing people concern about, the casting of every movie is very suitable for the superhero they play. But it is undeniable that MCU has begun to decline. Although Marvel movies are well-made and the actors all make great efforts, movies are becoming more and more like theme park products. A movie should be a work where actors strive to convey emotions and spiritual feelings.

Everyone has a unique perspective and understanding, looking back at the history of MCU, there is never a lack of controversial opinions. The generator collects some hot opinions about the MCU that could get your fan card revoked, you could find 20 items here.
