  Tomura's motives fall in a hazy area. He distrusts heroes – specifically All Might – because they once failed to protect him from a villain's attack, but he also wants to destroy things for fun.

  All For One raises him as a successor, but so far he lacks the restraint and strategical thinking needed to take the reigns effectively.

  Himiko Toga joins the League of Villains in order to emulate her idol, Stain—but she also wants to murder him and "become him."

  This falls in line with her general worldview. When she loves someone, she adores them even more when they're visibly injured, especially if she inflicted the wounds.

  Her quirk allows her to transform into people after getting ahold of their blood, which gives her ample opportunity to practice her sadism.

  Twice sports an energetic and friendly personality, but his quirk causes him quite a bit of hardship.

  Twice finds his ability to clone himself useful at first, since he had each clone take care of one aspect of his life. But when his clones began claiming they're as the original, Twice suffers an identity crisis that gets in the way of his activities with the League of Villains.

  Though he uses inarguably villainous methods, Stain actually fights for something he believes in. He thinks the current hero system is corrupt, that true heroes receive no money for saving lives, and that society venerates people who are unworthy.

  All For One, who possesses the ability to steal people's quirks for himself, stands as the ultimate villain of the series so far. 

  Now severely injured thanks to a battle with All Might, he hopes to train Tomura Shigaraki to succeed him as leader of the League of Villains. Exactly what he hopes to achieve with the organization remains unclear, but it will likely be something quite nefarious.

  Mr. Compress is probably the most intelligent member of the Vanguard Action Squad. Rather than simply running off to beat people up for his own amusement, he plans to carry out the team's mission: kidnapping Katsuki Bakugo.

  His quirk allows him to compress people and objects into tiny round balls, making them easily transportable.

  There's a reason Rappa is part of the Shie Hassaikai's Eight Bullets. This villain truly loves the sport of battles, making him quite scary as he won't give up until someone is dead. His only ambition in life is to battle opponents stronger than him and satisfy his desire for violence. His Quirk, Strongarm, allows him to attack his opponents with a barrage of extremely fast and powerful bullet punches.

  Has there ever been a MHA villain more suave and...gentlemanly? Gentle Criminal is not your average villain. For one, his main ambition in life is not to destroy humanity or bring down Pro Heroes. He simply wants to become a famous Internet star. His eccentric personality and love for the theatrics makes him a memorable (and hilarious) villain. And when his tragic backstory is revealed, it only makes audiences want to root for him more. His Quirk, Elasticity, allows him to make anything he touches bendable and bouncy.

  High-End is one of the League of Villain's latest Nomus. And while he has the same abilities as the other Nomus such as super regeneration and powerful strength, there's one terrifying thing that sets him apart - intelligence. High-End has intelligence and is even able to speak. He is a true threat to the Pro Heroes as even Endeavor and Hawks struggle greatly to defeat him.

  Chronostasis is always seen by Overhaul's side, proving to be extremely useful and important to the Yakuza leader. And it's no wonder since his Quirk lets him slow down any opponents' movements with his clock-like hair.

  Nomus look scary, and they're even scarier once you learn more about them. These hideous monsters, often unleashed on unsuspecting citizens by the League of Villains, can have any quirk.

  This happens because Nomus are fused body parts from multiple people, and those people's quirks remain in their flesh after they die.

  (#15) La Brava

  La Brava is undoubtedly the most adorable and wholesome villain in the series. An expert hacker and Gentle's No. 1 fan, La Brava is the brains behind Gentle's online success. And her unwavering love for Gentle helps make her Quirk stronger. La Brava's Love Quirk allows her to give a power boost to the person whom she loves most, proving extremely useful when they're caught by police or heroes. When her backstory and touching relationship with Gentle is revealed, we can't help but love this endearing character.

  It's not hard to see where Muscular's name comes from—his quirk allows him to dramatically increase his muscle mass to the point where it expands beyond his skin.

  A member of the Vanguard Action Squad, Muscular joins solely so he can use his quirk to hurt people. It's during his one-on-one battle with Muscular that Izuku is first seen as a hero by a civilian. It's a child whose life Izuku saves by defeating Muscular.

  Nemoto, also one of the Eight Bullets of the Shie Hassaikai, possesses quite the useful Quirk: Confession. He is able to force his victims to tell the truth when he asks them questions. His powers allow him to mess with his opponents psychologically and lower their resolve.

  Spinner shows more devotion to Stain than other sympathetic members of the League of Villains, to the point where he dresses like him, proving that it's not just Stain's views he admires, it's Stain himself.

  Motivated by this infatuation, Spinner actually goes against the League of Villains to protect Izuku, who Stain called a worthy hero. Though visibly lizard-like, Spinner never confirms exactly what his quirk is.

  (#19) Mustard

  At age 13, Mustard comes in as the youngest member of the League of Villains. He exudes a poisonous gas that knocks out anyone who breathes it in, which proves chaotic during the training camp invasion.

  Tragically, he boasts no resistance to his own poison, forcing him to wear a gas mask when using his powers.

  Unlike many other villains, Mustard relies on more than just his quirk or his physical strength. He also uses guns as backup—a remarkably pragmatic choice, even if they fail against heroes like Tetsutetsu who can harden their skin.

  After committing a series of heinous crimes involving the consumption of human flesh, Moonfish is put on death row.
