The shadow, which is a quasi-sentient birdlike being, can be so debilitated by lights that it retreats back into Tokoyami's body, unable to function at all. And while darkness does increase Dark Shadow's power, Tokoyami isn't always able to control it when this happens, which turns it into another kind of weakness.

  As you may have surmised from the name, Death The Kid is the son of Death himself. You'd think that someone with that kind of lineage would be pretty unflappable, but that's not the case. Actually, he's completely obsessed with symmetry. He both strongly appreciates symmetrical things and gets upset to the point of panicking or even fainting when the objects and individuals around him aren't symmetrical. How he tolerates his own hair is an open question.

  Though they all take wildly different forms, all demons share the same unusual weakness: wisteria flowers. Demons can be badly poisoned by this purple flower, and as such it plays a big role in keeping them at bay. Demon Slayers often carry wisteria around with them. What's more, a large group of demons are kept in a controlled location by a grove of wisteria that they cannot cross. The flower is so lethal that these demons would rather stay in one place and starve than expose themselves to it.

Anything that another species might eat, be it meat, vegetables, grains, dairy, or anything else, will not only taste repulsive to a ghoul, but will also make them violently ill. As such, it's kind of hard to blame them for their diets, even if humans don't exactly benefit.

  Titans are pretty much invulnerable except for one thing - if slashed across napes of their necks, they will go down. This is likely because Titan are essentially gigantic meat mecha piloted by human beings lodged in the nape.

  In order to access the vulnerable spot, members of the Survey Corps use ODM gear to sail through the air and land on the Titan's backs.

  Ayame Sohma is one of the most unflappable characters in the world of Fruits Basket - to him, everything is a joke and there's little reason to get upset about anything. He does have one minor weakness though: cold weather. While all of the Sohmas are somewhat delicate, Ayame is especially so.

  Why? Because he's the snake of the Zodiac. Snakes are cold blooded creatures, which means that their take on the body temperature of their surroundings. While Ayame is probably warm blooded in his human form (he'd have an acute case of not being alive anymore otherwise) he's still easily impacted by cold weather.

  The effects range from simply feeling unwell to straight up transforming into a snake. This makes it difficult for him to leave the house during the winter, but he usually finds some kind of workaround.

  (#11) Sweet Mask Is Laid Low By Ugly People In 'One Punch Man'

  Despite being a top ranking A-Class hero, Sweet Mask isn't totally invulnerable. Actually, he's pretty easy to defeat - all you have to do is be ugly. Sweet Mask is so disturbed by people and monsters that he finds to be exceptionally ugly that he literally collapses or becomes paralyzed at the sight of them. That means that the Ugmon, monster who were once exceptionally ugly humans, can pretty much have a field day with him.

  Problems with cats are actually surprisingly common in the world of anime. There are at least two - Omamori Himari and Nyan Koi - where a cat allergy is central to the plot. There are also quite a number of characters who are afraid of cats for some reason or another - Ranma Saotome, Gilbert Nightray - the list goes on.

  But one of the most interesting examples is Mad Pierrot of Cowboy Bebop. The reason for his fear of cats is that when he was enduring painful human experimentation, a cat used to watch him. He begins to associate cats with his trauma, and is reduced to a sobbing, screaming wreck when he sees one. His intense reaction to the meows of a toy cat is actually what allows Spike and company to defeat him.

  Fire is potentially dangerous to pretty much everybody, but Mizore Shirayuki is epsecially vulnerable. Why? Because she's a snow woman, a kind of yokai with ice based powers. This not only means that she'll struggle against someone with fire powers in battle, it also means that she has trouble with any kind of cooking that requires her to use a stove.
