About This Tool

The earliest Sufi saints that can be reliably identified are al-junayd and al-muhasibi, and some say the Egyptian dhu al-nun has also established the practice of the mysticism. The development of Sufism had been influenced by many external factors, but it always insisted on expounding its own views through scriptures and teachings, pursuing the inner truth and path, and ignoring the outer rules of etiquette and Shariah, and engender suspicion and hostility from the establishment. In addition to these people, the Sufis are also very numerous, of which 125 are recorded in this random tool.

These people of Sufism were born in different times, different environments and different backgrounds. Many join the Sufis on the recommendation of relatives and friends. They also practice asceticism, and hope to join the Sufis by CO opting relatives and friends around them. Many of the practices of these Sufis, preserved in generators, draw inspiration from Christian monastic communities of the same age or earlier, while denying many of the Christian rituals that established the uniqueness of the asceticism, such as denying the Christian monks the universal practice of asceticism, emphasizing the importance of procreation, prohibiting self castration, and emphasizing the importance of jihad.
