About This Tool
The historical aspect of religious discrimination in labour legislation in Northern Ireland and the current state of legislation in this area has been a major headache for the government. After a long debate, finally, in 1976, a Labour Law History Act was adopted which abolished discrimination in the labour force in the state and private sectors of the economy on the basis of religious beliefs and political views. In addition, the random tool also collates 258 Statutory Rules, a legal document issued by the Government of Northern Ireland in 2008.
