About This Tool

The Philippine Economic Zone is composed of 96 economic zones under Peza’s jurisdiction and the independently operated Philippine FDIC, Subic, Cagayan, Zamboanga City and Cluck Freeport. These special economic zones benefit from a range of government incentives and tax benefits. Only 29 of these special economic zones are randomly selected for this tool, and more are available for those interested.

These special economic zones are located in different cities and regions of the Philippines, and they are classified at different times and at different levels. According to the information generated by the generator, most of these special economic zones have their own local champions and have a near-monopoly on the city’s main economic revenue. At the same time, different administrative hierarchies have been created to classify these free trade areas, which is generally administered by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority or are privately held.
