About This Tool

Karnataka holds local council elections every year, and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party competes fiercely with the opposition Indian National Congress. The parliamentary elections have often been tainted by vote-buying scandals, and in fact, the 24 spokesmen who have appeared here have not responded.

The Speakers’details, including where each speaker came from, the list, when he or she joined and when he or she left, as well as how long he or she served, are stored in the generator tool for random searching. Each Speaker is chosen by the Indian government and voters to represent their trust in them. While some Speakers actually contributed, others remained anonymous, eroding the trust of the people.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of speakers of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.
