About This Tool

The theory of sovereign state originated from the 16th-century French thinker J. Jean Bodin’s theory of sovereignty. In his opinion, sovereignty is the supreme power that a country enjoys, is unified and indivisible, and is above the law. In the world of 1804, the random tool recorded a total of 472 countries as sovereign states at the time.

These sovereign states have their own independent regimes and legal systems. From the data recorded by the generator, you can also find the flag, full name, capital, State type, active time, and location of each individual sovereign State. Most of the countries are still active today, but some died out in the last century, merged by other countries around them, and their existence has been legendary ever since.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of sovereign states in 1804.
