About This Tool

The Sorbian language is a remnant of the ancient West Slavs language spoken in what is now eastern Germany and spoken by no more than 100,000 people. It is also divided into Upper Sorbian and Lower Sorbian, the languages of the Sorbian minority in south-eastern Germany. And writers who write in Sorbian are even rarer. This random tool collates 10 of the best-known Sorbian writers in the area, for those interested to check further.

These writers come from different eras and have different emotions and understandings of the wars, triumphs and humiliations experienced in Sorbian. With the generator, we can see the full names of the authors listed, dates of birth and death, major occupations, and so on. Most of them have other careers besides being writers, and only a small percentage of them have representative works.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Sorbian-language writers.
