About This Tool

Stephen Foster is a songwriter. As an outstanding American composer, he is different from others in that he is a self-taught composer. His masterpieces include the Old Folks at Home, the My Old Kentucky Home, the Blonde Jennie, the Beautiful Dreamer, OH, Susanna, the old Negro, and so on, many of them are well-known songs that have spread far and wide.

In this random tool, he has written 209 songs detailed list, for the convenience of further review. We can use the generator to find a detailed list of each song, when it was published, its publisher, lyricist, and song types. Most of these songs were written in the late 1800s, a period when music was beginning to take hold, and Stephen Foster’s work brought new blood to the music scene.
