About This Tool

The illustrator’s main job is to illustrate literary works. In Slovenia, however, there are many well-known illustrators who specialize in different kinds of illustrations, mainly for children’s or adult literature. This random tool compiles a list of 21 Slovenian illustrators who have lived in different eras and have addressed different developments in Slovenian literature.

The full names of the illustrators, as well as the dates of birth and death, are kept in the generator for those interested. Depending on what the illustrators are good at, some of them have illustrated children’s literature, so they draw little lives that are very healing and warm, little white rabbits with carrot cakes, little mother foxes with their children, and so on, all small animals are furry. Some are illustrated for adult literature, with strong personal feelings and a mood to match the words. But it is worth noting that these illustrators all love life, like to feel nature, get inspiration from it.
