About This Tool

During the Second World War, the RAF also officially issued uniforms and armbands specifically for these units, as well as specialized communications equipment, including mapping tables with observation equipment and portable telephones. Different positions in the ROC will lead to different lines of business. But each post is important, and the accuracy of its observations may have shaped the success of World War II and the Cold War. A random tool collates 349 ROC positions that were specifically created at the time for you to see.

The generator details the full name, setup time, recovery time, as well as the number and country of the job. During the war, the Air Force, mainly on the basis of the information returned by the respective air observers, the position of enemy and enemy aircraft observed by the staff of the command center was marked on the plotting table and reported to the RAF Fighter Command.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Royal Observer Corps / United Kingdom Warning and Monitoring Organisation Posts (L–P).
