About This Tool

Romania’s film industry has its roots in the late 19th century, but its audience has an insatiable appetite for cinema, with hundreds of thousands more watching each film at the box office. This has led to the rise of many Romanian directors, who are able to produce many excellent works every year and get international exhibitions. The most famous award in the film is the Oscar for Best International Feature Film, which is specially awarded to a foreign film. So far, 35 Romanian films have been recorded in the random tool.

Detailed information about the films, including the date of the contest, the title, the original title, the director, and the final selection, is stored in detail in this generator. Romania has been involved in the competition since 1966, and unfortunately, only one film from 2012 has been shortlisted so far.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Romanian submissions for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
