About This Tool

Between 509 BC and 100 AD, Rome had a system of highly hierarchical and sharply demarcated officials. Different officials manage different departments and are responsible for handling and maintaining different matters. Some of the most famous officials of the Roman period, including Vice Marshal, provincial governor, Lord Chancellor, praetorian prefect, high priest and so on, the tools were randomly assigned to compile a list of 65 famous Roman officials.

In this list of Roman government officials, we can use the generator to find the dates of appointment of these political officials, detailed names, positions held, and other specific information. These officials serve for different periods of time, and if you are elected as a treasurer you automatically acquire the rank of the patriarch, in charge of the financial affairs of the Republic, and also in charge of public game competitions. Some of the Treasurers worked in the city of Rome, while others served as captains of legions, viceroys, and so on.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Roman quaestors.
