Queen’s University Belfast, also known as the Queen’s University, is a world class university located in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, as well as the research university. Founded by Queen Victoria in 1845, it boasts the best medical and engineering schools in Britain and Ireland, as well as business and management schools.
