About This Tool

The Philippine Military Academy is an Integrated Military Academy of the Philippine Army. Founded in 1905, the school was primarily used to train army officers and has since been renamed and relocated several times to become an integrated military school for all branches of the armed forces. The school prepares the leadership needed for the various services. The students are selected strictly, so this is also an important training base for Philippine military personnel.

Graduates receive degrees and diplomas from the military academy, are assigned to the army and join the ranks of officers. In the Philippines, military service is an honorable occupation, as an officer in the army to serve at least eight years, up to 30 years, the retirement age is 55.
