About This Tool

When it comes to Britain’s landmarks, most people think of either the London Eye or Big Ben. But those who really know, or even feel, the history of Britain may not think that Big Ben is the most representative of the British “tower”, and certainly not the Tower of London, but now has stood alone in the sea around the lighthouse for many years.

The northern Lighthouse Authority (NLB) currently has 207 lighthouses in use. These lighthouses light the way for fishing boats at night or point the way for lost people. The random tool records in detail the names and town locations of these lighthouses. Some of these lighthouses are also good places for tourists to visit. If you want to see the city from above, look for them in the generator.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Northern Lighthouse Board lighthouses.
