About This Tool

The NEMERTEA is long and narrow, forming a flat ribbon. Its body length is usually 5 ~ 20 cm, and some species can reach 30 M. Dorsal abdomen flat, the body extended into a tie-like, hence the name. UNSEGMENTED, the alimentary canal has a mouth and an anus. There’s a long kiss on the front and back. The excretory organ is the primary renal duct. Most in the sea, a few in fresh water, wet soil, but also parasitic life. Fossils are scarce. Jurassic to modern times.
