About This Tool

Nebraska has one of the largest Czech descendants in the United States. Most of the region is populated by descendants from Germany, especially in the eastern counties. Most people in Thurston County are native Americans. Butler County is one of only two counties in the country with the largest Czech population. Nebraska gets its name from the Native Americans, meaning smooth water.

Since 1867, Nebraska has adopted the Motto as its own State Symbol. It was the first state symbol in Nebraska history. Over the following decades, Nebraska has used Flower, Flag, Bird, Fossil, and so on as state symbols. Different state symbols mean different things, and it wasn’t until 1998 that it was finally decided to use Milk as a state symbol. Of course, detailed information is included in this random tool generator, and a total of 27 symbols have been adopted over the course of history.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Nebraska state symbols.
