About This Tool

The Irish parliament is the highest legislative body in Ireland and consists of the president and the House and Senate. The House of Representatives is the main legislature, and most of the bills it passes end up in law, which the president can refer to the Supreme Court for review if he deems them unconstitutional. The Senate has no power to veto the house bill, only to delay it.

The Irish parliament was first established in the 13th century as a subordinate parliament of the British parliament (Ireland was then a British colony) , consisting of the king, the House of Lords and the House of Commons, which was dissolved at the 1801. There have been 11 elections so far, but more details about the candidates, constituencies, and election times are in the details collated by the random tool generator.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Nationalist Party MPs (Ireland).
