About This Tool

Silencers are large molded fiberglass sculptures that are used primarily in the United States as advertising icons, roadside attractions, or for decorative purposes. The first character, about 18 to 25 feet tall, was a Paul Bunyan character designed to hold an ax. Derivatives of this number are widely used to accommodate large car silencers, tires or other items that promote a variety of roadside businesses.

Most of the silencers are made of international fiberglass in Venice, California. The silencers were sent to different states across the United States. The random tool generated approximately 83 items, documenting the locations of silencers in states like California, Arizona, Connecticut, Colorado, Kansas, Idaho, and so on. If you want to get a look at these big things, be sure to use a random tool to find out where they are.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Muffler Men.
