  • All For One - All For One on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

(#1) All For One - All For One

All For One is a major villain in My Hero Academia, so it stands to reason his quirk would be formidable. All For One's quirk, with which he shares his name, allows him to permanently take abilities from other people, leaving them quirkless. Not only can All For One use these skills himself, he can also combine them into new techniques that are far more powerful than the original quirk alone.

What's more, he can also give the quirks he has taken to anyone he chooses.

  • One For All - Izuku Midoriya And All Might on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

(#2) One For All - Izuku Midoriya And All Might

One For All is a combination of two quirks. One allows the user to accumulate huge reserves of raw power in their body, and the second grants the ability to transfer the quirk from person to person. The first part of One For All is what propelled All Might to the top of the professional hero world, and the second one is what allows him to pass his quirk on to Izuku Midoriya at the beginning of the series.

While the quirk affords its user incredible physical strength - enough to break down a wall or defeat an opponent with a single punch - it can be dangerous in a body that isn't powerful enough to handle it. When Izuku is first getting used to his new quirk, he breaks his bones every time he tries to use it. As he develops techniques for evenly distributing his powers, as well as strengthens his bones and muscle fibers, it becomes a far more useful ability.

  • Overhaul - Kai Chisaki on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#3) Overhaul - Kai Chisaki

Overhaul is one of the most over-powered quirks in My Hero Academia. Kai Chisaki can break down anything he touches into its most elemental components, and then he's able to rebuild it into any form he sees fit. He can use it to wipe out an opponent's body completely, bring back an ally from the brink of death, or cure a person's chronic illness. He's difficult to track, as he can destroy and then reform his surroundings as he passes them, making them look indistinguishable from moments prior.

He can even break down someone else's body and graft part of it to himself, effectively taking their quirk or other abilities. Overhauls's only weakness is that it's localized in Chisaki's hands, so if his hands were removed, the quirk would no longer function.

  • Rewind - Eri on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#4) Rewind - Eri

Eri possesses one of the most dangerous, volatile quirks in the entire My Hero Academia universe. Her ability, Rewind, allows her to manipulate her target's biological clock to turn back time, but only as it relates to the target's physical makeup. This quirk allows her to bring someone's body to a state before it was injured, removing the injury.

On the flip side, she can also bring back old injuries that have since healed. She can restore someone's youth, but she can also bring them back in time to infancy, or before they existed in any form - a fatal application of the quirk.

Eri is only 6 years old, and she's become manipulated into using her quirk for nefarious purposes. Hopefully, with the help of the staff at UA, she'll learn to use it in positive ways.

  • Half-Cold Half-Hot - Shoto Todoroki on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#5) Half-Cold Half-Hot - Shoto Todoroki

Adopting both his father's fire powers and his mother's ice abilities, Shoto Todoroki technically has two quirks in one. He produces fire with the left side of his body, and ice with his right, resulting in a quirk called Half-Cold Half-Hot. Because Shoto has a poor relationship with his fire-using father, he's neglected the possibilities of his left side for years and hasn't quite mastered using both elements simultaneously.

As he develops his quirk, he's able to not only combine his two abilities, but use them for things like breaking down doors and using the ice for transportation.

  • Erasure - Shota Aizawa on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#6) Erasure - Shota Aizawa

Erasure is probably the single most useful quirk a person with Shota Aizawa's job could have. He's able to temporarily erase any quirk, completely eliminating it from the user's repertoire. This is indispensable when battling enemies with powerful quirks and training students who don't yet know how to use dangerous quirks safely.

The only drawback is that for his quirk to work, he has to stare unblinkingly at the target, meaning his mark's quirk comes back the instant he shuts his eyes. This results in chronic dry-eye, which he takes eye drops to manage.

  • Decay - Tomura Shigaraki on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#7) Decay - Tomura Shigaraki

You do not want to be anywhere near Tomura Shigaraki's hands when he's activating his formidable quirk, Decay. Decay does exactly what the name implies: anything he touches begins to disintegrate in his hands. The only drawback is that he may not be able to fully control his quirk.

This is because it automatically activates on anything he touches with all five fingers.

  • Explosion - Katsuki Bakugo on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#8) Explosion - Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki Bakugo's quirk, Explosion, is exactly what it sounds like. His sweat contains nitroglycerin, which he can use to spark explosions. What's more, he can control the size and strength of the explosions, ranging from small bursts to huge eruptions.

As one might imagine with something as volatile as a bomb, there are a few drawbacks to this powerful quirk. Because it relies on his sweat, it's harder for him to use it in cold weather and control in hot weather. Overuse can result in recoil, which can damage his arms, but Bakugo's intense physical strength often allows him to avoid this.

  • Brainwashing - Hitoshi Shinso on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#9) Brainwashing - Hitoshi Shinso

Hitoshi Shinso's quirk is incredibly creepy and unbelievably powerful. He can brainwash his target to do anything he asks of them, as long as they respond to his verbal prompting. While it won't be effective on someone who won't respond, he's skilled at using people's insecurities to goad them into speaking, even if they fully intend to avoid it.

In fact, in most cases he'll be facing people who don't know what triggers his quirk. As a professional hero, being able to make your opponent into a puppet is incredibly useful. He could apply this quirk to force his opponents to off themselves or, conversely, take a more pacifistic approach and have them turn themselves in to the police.

  • Black Hole - Thirteen on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#10) Black Hole - Thirteen

As you may have guessed from the name, Black Hole allows its user, Thirteen, a teacher at UA High School, to create miniature black holes using their fingers. Black holes have such a powerful gravitational pull that nothing, not even light, can avoid being sucked in. Being significantly smaller than a real black hole, Thirteen's creations aren't quite that powerful - otherwise they wouldn't be able to use them without destroying the planet.

Nevertheless, they can break down a human being, building, or anything else at the atomic level. Thirteen works hard to ensure that they don't slay people using their dangerous quirk, and instead directs it toward tasks like clearing wreckage.

  • Warp Gate - Kurogiri on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#11) Warp Gate - Kurogiri

Warp Gate is a teleportation technique, which might not initially seem that impressive. However, it has some seriously useful applications. Not only can Kurogiri use this quirk to escape dangerous situations, he can also use it as an offensive technique. For example, he might warp his opponent into the bottom of the ocean or the middle of a volcano.

He can also close the warp gate while someone is still inside, which will break their body in half.

  • Creation - Momo Yaoyorozu on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#12) Creation - Momo Yaoyorozu

Creation allows Momo Yaoyorozu transform her fat cells into literally any inanimate object she chooses, as long as she understands its chemical makeup. When faced with a toxic gas, she's able to generate and hand out fully functional gas masks to everyone in her class. She can also use her quirk for more enjoyable purposes. If she wants a new phone, for example, it's a snap to create one.

Momo also never has to worry about gaining weight, since she can always transform excess fat into something else.

  • Manifest - Tamaki Amajiki  on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#13) Manifest - Tamaki Amajiki

Tamaki's quirk, Manifest, allows his body to manifest traits of any food he's eaten while it's still active in his digestive system. This makes for an extremely useful and versatile quirk as he can adjust to any situation with his choice of "weapons."

By eating takoyaki (a Japanese fried octopus snack), Tamaki can change his fingers into tentacles. He also eats clams every day so that he can use the clam shells as a shield to defend himself.

  • Hellflame - Endeavor on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#14) Hellflame - Endeavor

Although Shoto Todoroki's Half-Cold Half-Hot quirk is meant to be more superior than Endeavor's Hellflame quirk, Endeavor isn't the new No. 1 hero for nothing. Proven by his epic fight against the intelligent Nomu, High-End, Endeavor's quirk is extremely powerful.

He is able to generate large fire blasts that can incinerate his opponents, making his quirk perfect for offensive attacks. Plus, he's even able to fly by expelling flames through the soles of his feet. His most powerful move, Prominence Burn, is so intense and destructive that he has to use this attack on High-End up in the sky so as not to harm the city.

  • Fierce Wings - Hawks on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#15) Fierce Wings - Hawks

Not only can Hawks fly at a great speed, his quirk Fierce Wings allows him to manipulate his feathers using his mind. These feathers can vary in size and strength. Hawks can use his feathers as swords since they have the ability to cut through people and objects.

During High-End's attack on the city of Fukuoka, Hawks used his individual feathers to rescue the civilians trapped inside the damaged building. His feathers are capable of lifting and transporting people to safety, making his quirk extremely useful for rescue operations as well as offensive attacks.

  • Transform - Himiko Toga on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#16) Transform - Himiko Toga

Himiko Toga's quirk is a little tricky to activate, seeing as she needs to ingest her target's blood to make it work. But once that hurdle is cleared, she can transform into a physical replica of her subject. This makes it easy for her to infiltrate high-security areas.

Thus, she can effortlessly gain access to and process confidential information.

  • Whirlwind - Inasa Yoarashi on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#17) Whirlwind - Inasa Yoarashi

There's a reason why Inasa was the top-recommended student for U.A. High. His quirk, Whirlwind, allows him to manipulate wind and create strong tornadoes and gales. He can also manipulate the wind to make him fly or give him incredible speed.

During the Provisional Hero License Exam, he was the first student to pass the 1st round and eliminated 120 other examinees at the same time with his quirk. It's hard to imagine how to defend yourself against his powerful gusts of air or even match his attacks in strength.

  • Fiber Master - Best Jeanist on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

(#18) Fiber Master - Best Jeanist

Best Jeanist may seem like an absurd character to those unfamiliar with his quirk. The man wears pants on his face and thinks denim is considered high fashion. But with his quirk Fiber Master, Best Jeanist can control textiles, meaning anyone wearing clothes is subject to his manipulation.

Since the likelihood of him facing a clothless villain is quite low, he's able to use it to significant impact. He can also use the fibers of his own clothing to restrain his opponents or escape a risky situation.

  • Search - Ragdoll on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#19) Search - Ragdoll

Ragdoll's Search quirk may not be especially flashy, but it's still incredibly useful. Search allows her to monitor up to 100 people at any given moment, keeping track of their whereabouts and physical status with flawless accuracy.

This is especially useful when combined with her teammate Mandalay's Telepathy quirk, which allows her to transmit messages to multiple people simultaneously.

  • Voice - Present Mic on Random Most Powerful Quirks In 'My Hero Academia'

    (#20) Voice - Present Mic

Present Mic's quirk is easy to overlook, but it's pretty incredible. He can emit loud, high-pitched sounds that cause people's ears to bleed. Sound that loud can easily cause noise-induced hearing loss, which can result in temporary or even permanent deafness, as well as trigger tinnitus, a condition that ranges from annoying to totally debilitating.

It can also cause a variety of other health problems. According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, these include, "high blood pressure, faster heart rate, upset stomach, problems sleeping, even after the noise stops, [and] problems with how babies develop before birth."

Mic was causing people's ears to bleed as an infant, so after 30 years of refining his technique, it's likely a whole lot more powerful.

About This Tool

In September 2012, Horikohei, who had won the Best Book Award from Tezuka, ended the serialization of his work Bargi, the war star. The second book did not go as well as he had hoped, perhaps because of the audience, perhaps for other reasons, Horie’s second serial was cut in half after just 16 words. Then came the long winter, as if after winning the prize his two novels were cut in half. Horikoe, who couldn’t come up with a new idea, decided to expand the short films he had written in the past after his long career as a writer put him under enormous financial and psychological pressure. The Battle of Shaker Heights, who had been working on his first film since 1989, had no idea what he wanted to do. So his early short story, my hero, became a writing opportunity and a precursor to my hero academy.

This random generator tool compiles 20 entries and chronicles some of the more famous heroes in My Hero Academia. Including Izuku Midoriya And All Might, Kai Chisaki, Eri, Shoto Todoroki, Shota Aizawa, etc.
