About This Tool

In the U.S. presidential election, 50 states and the District of Columbia, where Washington is located, will count the electoral votes as a separate entity. Each of the 50 states, regardless of its population, has two fixed votes, and the capital, Washington, D.C., has three, or 103. The remaining 435 votes are divided according to the population of each state, and the more populous the state, the more electoral votes it has 538 electoral votes. With the exception of Nebraska and Maine, a candidate who wins the popular vote in that state wins all of the state’s electoral votes, and the first candidate to receive 270 electoral votes is elected president of the United States.

The random tool generated detailed votes cast in Michigan from 1830 to 2018. A total of 348 items, including multiple rounds of the election, pass rate, failure rate, proportion, specific description, and so on.
