About This Tool

The mayos are concentrated in the Mayo Valley and the Fuerte Valley. Where the soil is rich and irrigated. The Two rivers wind right through the middle of a semi-desert landscape, suitable for Thorn Bushes and CACTI. The mayoans were settled farmers, whose traditional crops were maize, beans and Pumpkins, but later grew a portion of cotton, wheat and Sunflowers, which were the source of cooking oil. The religion of the mayoans was a mixture of Catholic and Aborigine Customs. At the end of the 20th century, there were about 80,000 mayoans.
