About This Tool
Luther is one of the major Protestant denominations, and the earliest Protestant denominations, based on Martin Luther (1483-1546) religious thought. Because of its emphasis on the doctrine of “justification by faith” , it is also called the faith sect. Luther sect is one of the most influential Protestant sects in the world. Luther’s doctrine, with its emphasis on justification by faith, held that salvation lay not in the observance of church rules, but in faith in God, not in individual merit or good works, but in the Gift of God. By faith, a person is called a righteous person by God. All believers can communicate directly with God through prayer. For this reason, Luther believes that all believers can be priests, without the need for all levels of the clergy as an intermediary. At the same time, Luther emphasized that the Bible was fundamental to faith and that all rituals, institutions, and doctrines that did not conform to the Bible were rejected by Lutheranism.
