  Pennhurst was a state-funded school and hospital in Pennsylvania that operated from 1908 until 1987. Originally intended to be a boarding school and hospital, the building eventually became an asylum.   Today, the site houses a creepy playground and a haunted house attraction. Visitors to Pennhurst report feeling cold breezes brushing by, hearing children's screams, and even seeing full body apparitions.

The site later became a dump until someone decided to build a playground. Renovations unearthed the old graveyard.
