  • Doctor Doom on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#8) Doctor Doom

All hope lies in Doom, and in Jonathan Hickman's epic Fantastic Four and FF saga, that even means trusting Doctor Doom to wield the Infinity Gauntlet. Good old "Uncle Doom" is a surprising Fantastic Four ally throughout Hickman's run. From FF #14 on, Doom protects his beloved Valeria Richards with his very own power of the Gauntlet.

Since no object of power is intimidating to Doom, the master villain wears not one but two Gauntlets while assembling his interdimensional Parliament of Dooms. It's one of the more benevolent possible outcomes of Doom with a Gauntlet, and it could certainly be seen again in the future.

  • The Magus on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#5) The Magus

It wouldn't have been a proper Infinity War without the return of the Gauntlet. In the second part to Jim Starlin and Ron Lim's early '90s Infinity trilogy, that's exactly what readers got with the Magus donning the Infinity Gauntlet.

For the uninitiated, the Magus is Adam Warlock's "evil" half, the embodiment of all the negative and impure aspects of the one called Him. Magus is every bit as capable of wielding the Gauntlet as Warlock, except he possesses only nefarious intentions.

  • Iron Man on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#13) Iron Man

    • Iron Man (vol. 4), Iron Man: Extremis Motion Comic, Civil War

Despite his avenging and heroic status, Tony Stark is not exactly the first man on the "grant godlike status" wish list. This is why Iron Man wielding the Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers #12 is such a tense moment for both heroes and villains present.

To be fair, it's not like Tony was on a hunt for the Gauntlet. The Avengers are forced to stop Parker Robbins, AKA Hood, from using the Infinity Gauntlet in mad quest for ultimate power. It takes Iron Man's eventual use of the Gauntlet to save the day, and to his credit, Tony Stark does the right thing and gives up power supreme.

  • Black Panther on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#1) Black Panther

Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic's Secret Wars is remarkable for a number of reasons. In this 2015 comic. After finding Doctor Strange's secret island, T'Challa the Black Panther works with Namor the Sub-Mariner to assemble and wear the Infinity Gauntlet. Despite his "God Emperor" status, T'Challa confronts Doom with the Infinity Gauntlet in Secret Wars #9. After defeating Doom, Black Panther uses the Gauntlet to transport himself back in time to when he and Doctor Strange first discovered the incursions between parallel worlds.

  • Mister Fantastic on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#12) Mister Fantastic

Marvel's Illuminati - the clandestine team of Reed Richards, Professor X, Namor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Black Bolt - make a number of bold, troublesome executive decisions. One of the most arrogant may well be deciding that they - and they alone - can decide the fate of the Infinity Gauntlet, one of the most powerful cosmic artifacts in existence.

In New Avengers: Illuminatiit's Reed Richards among the powerful Earth heroes who ultimately wields the power. Reed uses the power of the Gauntlet to call the final Stone home and is then tempted by all that power. Reed eventually gives up the Gauntlet, but there's a clear glimpse of what might have been.

  • Hulk on Random Characters Who Wore The Infinity Gauntlet Besides Thanos

    (#3) Hulk

If there's one character in the Marvel Universe who doesn't need the extra power of the Infinity Gauntlet, it's the Ultimate Comics universe Hulk. Ultimate Hulk is a savage monster, every bit as brutal as Bruce Banner's worst nightmares.

In Ultimate Comics Ultimates #25, Hulk becomes even more dangerous wielding the Infinity Stones. That's right, in the Ultimate universe, there are eight Infinity Stones, meaning the wielder of cosmic might has to use two hands! No enemy of Hulk would like him, even if he was wearing what appear like two gemstone mittens.
