Kanye West once famously tweeted he was $53 million in debt, so him flying coach isn't beyond the realm of imagination. It is a bit surprising his wife, Kim Kardashian West, would subject herself to it - on a transatlantic flight, no less.
Yes, the most famous couple in Calabasas flew economy class on Air Armenia in 2015, and plenty of pictures exist out there showing just how out-of-place and uncomfortable they felt as plebeians.

To become one of the most wealthy women in Hollywood, Jessica Alba flew coach. Just kidding, of course she made money through her career as a very successful actress and businesswoman, but at least once she saved money by forsaking first-class.
In 2012, her and husband Cash Warren were spotted flying economy class from Los Angeles to New York. While the two parents courageously suffered, their children and nanny enjoyed the first class life.

Glenn Close, Hollywood icon and famous bunny boiler, definitely warrants the rarified air of first class on a premier airline. The Damages star, however, traveled on discount airline JetBlue in 2006 on a flight from Portland, Maine to New York.
While JetBlue technically has a first class, Close opted to not bother, instead sitting in coach - in a middle seat, no less.

Academy Award nominee Amy Adams has had a remarkable career. From Doubt to The Master to Arrival, the actress routinely turns in first-class performances. She also once turned in a first class ticket and gave it to a US soldier.
In a truly noble gesture, the A-list star - who grew up on military bases - gave her seat up to an American serviceman on a 2014 flight from Detroit to Los Angeles.

In her role as Carrie Mathison on Showtime's Homeland, Claire Danes plays a workaholic CIA agent willing to put herself through hell to stop terrorism. In real life, she puts herself through hell flying coach because it's the last seat available. Quoted after her 2011 SAG award win for her performance in Temple Grandin, Danes boasted, "I’m flying tonight on coach. I know, I know, I feel like I’m bragging now at this point. It’s the only seat available, and I have to go back to work tomorrow morning."
Who knew her so-called life as a movie star was just like everyone else's.

In 1997, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs famously penned "I'll Be Missing You," a heart-rending tribute to his fallen friend Notorious B.I.G. In 2008, he mourned another premature loss - his private jet. Combs, in a memorable YouTube vlog titled "Gas Prices Are Too High," lamented the grounding of his jet, which he estimated was costing $200,000 round-trip.
What's more, he filmed his video confession while walking to his seat on American Airlines - in coach.

A testament to how much the CW pays it talent, Blake Lively showed up flying coach with her then-boyfriend Penn Badgely in 2009. The two just wrapped up their season on Gossip Girl and were flying to Thailand for what was probably a wonderful vacation after half-a-day in the air, in economy no less.
Lively's career has done well enough since the aughts that she likely avoids 12-hour flights in economy class these days. XOXO, rich girl.

To be fair, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been ridiculously wealthy for so long that they may have forgotten what the words "economy" and "class" mean when combined with one another. At least, that provides at least one working theory as to why the two flew coach on Air France in 2015.
The since-divorced couple was traveling from the US to Paris, and did so among the common people. They also had their six children with them, which, at that point, a private jet might have been more cost effective.

One of the last people on Earth you expect to fly in coach, Prince William bravely declined a private jet, or even first class in 2014. The heir to Britain's throne, William was flying from Memphis to Dallas for a friend's wedding, and opted for economy class on American Airlines.
The Prince, who's grandmother is the largest landowner on the planet, also decadently ordered a water during the flight. Royals, they're just like you.

Ed Burns is a serious, well-respected actor. Off the strength of Brothers McMullen, the guy should at least have a seat in first class. The world - and show business in particular - is an unjust place, however, and purveyors of class sometimes never get to experience it.
In 2012, among a sea of lowly film critics, the actor was spotted flying coach on his way to the Toronto Film Festival. Forget Private Ryan, someone save Ed Burns from coach!

In 2011, America Ferrera was on her way to the Sundance Film Festival, where she was to be a juror for the U.S. dramatic competition. Likely due to the high demand travel affair that is Sundance, the Ugly Betty star found herself sitting in coach.
A film blogger who happened to be on the flight noted upon Ferrera's graciousness, and even high-fived some of her fellow coach co-horts.
