  Boogie Nights approaches Christmas with a pretty grim attitude. Buck (Don Cheadle) is at a bakery buying donuts when an armed robber comes in and leaves Buck as the only survivor. Buck sees an opportunity to get a leg up in a world that has dismissed and discounted him his entire life and walks out with the bag of cash the robber was attempting to take.

  In About a Boy Will (Hugh Grant), lives a comfortable life funded by the music royalties from a Christmas song that his father wrote. Will develops an unexpected fatherly bond with a little boy named Marcus (Nicholas Hoult).
